City Botanic Gardens & Marriott Hotel

We cannot tell you how much we loved working with Peta to design her wedding to her dream man, Dave. In just a few weeks, she pulled together her vision of her luxury wedding and asked us to help execute her ideas. Talk about wow!

The ceremony was held on the wedding lawn of the City Botanic Gardens, we set the scene with our white decor and Bouquet Boutique completed the picture with their stunning fresh floral bouquets for our gold urns and white podiums. Small matching posies were tied on each aisle chair too. A sweet personalised mirror completed the scene.

Now let’s talk about this reception room – wow, wow, wow!

We went to town, ceiling installation with our gold central chandelier. Two long guest tables adorned with rosette linens and a host of gold floral stands, candleabras, votives, floating candles, charger plates, gold cutlery, personalised acrylic guest names, gold tiffany chairs and more. As stylists, these weddings make our heart flutter and skip a beat. we finishe off the room with bridal table styling, a fairylight backdrop and podiums with florals around the sides of the room.

This couple were a delight to work with and style for. Thank you Peta & Dave!

Brisbane City Hall

Our lovely couple, Kelly and Nathan engaged us to execute their glamourous wedding at City Hall and boy did we love styling it! Behind the large bridal table we created a flowerwall and chandelier backdrop. This created the perfect backdrop for their gold sequin bridal table, adorned with long faux floral train with cascading orchids. Gold tiffany chairs, gold table centrepieces and charger plates completed the guest table dressing.

Sirromet Winery

The Laguna at Sirromet Winery was the tranquil location for Tanya & Daniel to marry. Our simple and elegant white chiffon curtains framed the water background perfectly. At the entrance to The Laguna, we hung our large drapes and rolled out the 10 metre white carpet aisle.

Their reception was held at the Barrel Room, with brick walls and wine barrels this room has such a great feel. We dressed their guest tables with tall vases of willow, hanging diamantes and white rose stems. Floating candles surrounded the vase on a large mirror base.  Copper charger plates were placed at each guest setting and this tied in beautifully with the warmth of the barrel room. Tanya & Daniel’s bridal table was dressed with long mirrors and loads of floating candles and copper votives. Beautiful!

Summergrove Estate, NSW

The day that Australia passed legislation to legalise same-sex marriage was one hell of a celebration!  As professionals in the wedding industry, it was heart-breaking to experience same-sex couples have a “commitment ceremony” rather than a legal marriage. So, on the 15th November 2017, we all raised our glasses and toasted a big HELL YES to marriage equality in Australia.

As wedding stylists, we embraced this fabulous news and rallied together with a bunch of awesome wedding professionals to create history in Australia. The first same-sex wedding took place on Tuesday 9th January 2018.

Craig and Luke were the gorgeous Grooms involved in this epic wedding event. You could not have found a more lovely, genuine, down-to-earth and “in love” couple.  Within minutes of meeting them our hearts filled with joy. These two deserved to be together forever in marriage.

Tanja from TM Event Planning worked closely with celebrant Sarah-May Alexander and the fab team from Summergrove Estate at Carool in Northern NSW to create magic. They invited a team of wedding peeps that they knew could pull off a unique and momentous event – and that they did.

Music by Benny Hanna, Life Size Light Up Letters by our friends at Event Letters, Hair & Makeup by the fabulous team at Bella Brides, stunning arbour florals, bouquets and buttonholes by Jacqui M Design, grazing platter by Your Platter Matters, Woodfire Pizza by The Italian Job, Tacos by Poptaco, Stationery by Invitation Designs by Eliza, Photo Booth by Insta Kombi, Fireworks by Aerial Pyro-Tech, Boys Accessories by Wood and Beau and Wedding Cake by Two Little Bakers.

View the video and photos by Jadore Wedding Films here.

Craig and Luke shared this occasion with their closest friends and family….and the rest of the world as this wedding turned into a media frenzy with coverage of this first official same-sex wedding in Australia reaching far and wide around Australia and the world.

Congratulations Mr & Mr Burns, we loved being part of your incredible wedding day!

Jess & Ben

Sheraton Grand Mirage, Gold Coast

The Sheraton Mirage on the Gold Coast was the wedding location for this beautiful couple, Jess & Ben! Prior to the ceremony we endured a sprinkle of rain whilst setting up, but that wasn’t going to dampen the spirits of Jess who said the show must go on! Our luxury couture oval arbour with full floral train and chandelier was complemented by an aisle of shepherds hooks and rose balls, our white carpet and podiums at the start of the aisle.

The reception room, filled with floor to ceiling glass on three sides looks out over the Sheraton Mirage pool area and ocean. Divine is an understatement! Jessica & Ben chose white decor with our trumpet vases and faux floral toppers, ceiling lighting and draping and 3 chandeliers over the bridal table. Our personalised seating mirror and wishing well were the final touches. Simple, elegant and luxurious – love it!
