The Marquee at Victoria Park Golf Complex, Brisbane

When Silvia and Dennis shared their Pinterest board of wedding ideas with us, we squealed with excitement! True story!! We love it when our couples have a vision of a luxury wedding and come to us to help with executing every little detail.

The arbour at Victoria park is 3 metres wide and deep, and creates a grand stage with steps leading up. It really is the perfect ceremony venue and especially when we get to create a cascading wisteria ceiling in it! Over … stems of white silk wisteria strands were hung, we worked at our head height and when the wisteria was all in place, we sent our structure up to the top of the arbour ceiling. Adding in white chiffon curtains and a floral train at the front completed this transformation of the ceremony space.

Silvia asked that her first two rows of Tiffany chairs be dressed with white woven chiffon and we just love how it adds to the elegance. Adding the silk florals to the aisle chairs and rolling out our perfectly white carpet aisle runner set the scene for this divine couple to seal their marriage.

Inside the large Marquee room at Victoria Park, we had created their luxury wedding wonderland. Tall stands with floral toppers and floating candles adored the guest tables. For the wedding table, we suspended a truss system with florals, greenery and wisteria and the ever so cute “The Clan Tran” neon sign. The bridal table featured our gorgeous tulle rouched skirt and was teamed with loads of floating candles and florals along the front.

We love taking a clients vision and exceeding their expectations and we know from their response that we did that and more!

City Botanic Gardens & Royal on the Park Hotel

Oh how we loved styling the wedding of Samantha & Jordan!

The had their ceremony in the City Botanic Gardens in Brisbane, officiated by the lovely Natasha from Hills Celebrant. We styled their ceremony with our gorgeous white carpet aisle runner, white americana chairs, shepherds hooks and set of 4 podiums with the most divine arrangments by Garden Graffiti.

Their reception was held at Royal on the Park Hotel in their ballroom.  Their wedding table was elevated on a stage and our gorgeous fairylight backdrop provided a beautiful ambience and lovely background for the entire bridal party.

White tiffany chairs and gold centrepiece stands housed fresh bouquets by Garden Graffiti – stunning!

The Old Museum, Brisbane

There’s nothing better than a photoshoot with our industry friends to launch a new range and this was a cracker!  We had just received our range of luxurious and stylish velvet linens. Featured at the heritage-listed property in Bowen Hills, Brisbane, our aim for this shoot was to enhance the old girl’s natural beauty and that we did!

Rich wooden tables and chairs were provided by Brandition and we layered our lengths of blush pink velvet and an abundance of rich lush florals by Jacqui M. Sitting in our footed gold crystal look vases gave the blooms the stature they deserved along the table. Sunlight bounced off our matching gold crystal stemware and gold cutlery. Each place setting featured our rustic look resin charger plate and Burgundy velvet napkin.

We set a ceremony space against the heritage brick wall at one of the verandah and chose our slimline gold pentagon arch with matching silk florals to provide a subtle and effective ceremony backdrop. Our models Nathan & Katherine had a blast posing for camera.

Thanks to Cuisine on Cue who provides the venue catering for weddings at the Old Museum (one of their many venues) and made sure we were well fed and hydrated throughout our shoot day.

So much fun and so fabulous to showcase our talents with such awesome wedding peeps!

Brisbane City Hall / Customs House

Our lovely couple Naomi and Ryan had first hand experienced our styling work at their sister’s wedding the year prior. Having clients choose us because of this really does make us do a happy dance!

Naomi and Ryan chose to have their wedding ceremony at the iconic City Hall in Brisbane. Steeped in grandeur and character, the Brisbane Room epitomises class and elegance. And that’s exactly what we provided to make this girl shine. Our flower wall created the perfect ceremony backdrop, teamed with our white carpet aisle runner and entrance podiums with floral toppers.

Their wedding reception at Customs House was held in The Long Room which features cathedral ceilings and sculptured pillars. Styling in this room needs to compliment the gorgeous surrounds and our tall table stands with floral toppers certainly made a statement. Standing 1 metre tall, the guest tables were adorned with more silk florals at the base and floating candles in glass holders. White Tiffany chairs and gold beaded glass charger plates were provided for each guest and dressed each place setting.

On the front stage, the wedding party had a backdrop featuring our two cherry blossom trees. These created a romantic and elegant arch for the Bride & Groom. These images captured by Evernew Studio capture the romance of this super sweet couple.

The Marquee at Victoria Park

We loved working with this gorgeous couple to help bring their wedding dreams to life with a team of talented wedding suppliers! Choosing to have their ceremony indoors at The Marquee at Victoria Park meant they could have themselves and their guests in air-conditioned comfort without having to worry about an outdoor wedding.

Brisbane Market Flowers dressed our circle arch with fresh greenery and we laid out our long 10m white carpet with candles along the aisle leading up to the alter area. Post ceremony as the guests enjoyed their beverages and canapés on the marquee terrace, the VP team, Beautiful Weddings and the team of vendors went about a quick room turn to create this magical reception room. Silver candle holders with lots of candles and votives graced the guest tables and we nestled our silver holders amongst the most lush and beautiful fresh floral bridal table display. We love the simplicity of the white florals with greenery.  After cutting this amazing cake by Vas from Frosted Indulgence the couple and their guests were left to dance the night away and enjoy the hospitality of the team at Victoria Park!

The Grange at Sanctuary Cove

This wedding from 2018 at Sanctuary Cove is one that we continually reference when talking about hanging greenery installations – do you go fresh or faux?

This couple chose the faux greenery route to maximise their budget and we created the look that exceeded their expectations!

Using the large rafters in The Grange Room at Sanctuary Cove, we dressed the main square with a mixture of faux greenery, wisteria and roses. We brought in the strands of fairy lighting across over the bridal table and finished it off with a swag of greenery over the table.

For the guest tables, we featured fresh greenery runners through the middle of the timber tables, rustic look charger plates and gold Tiffany chairs.  A great rustic, enchanted look in this room with those timber and large ceiling rafters.

If you’re wondering whether you should do fresh or faux greenery, let us help you!
